At least one member of your party needs to be 25 years of age; groups of students can not rent unless accompanied by a parent.
Once you have filled out the online form, you will be sent the Vacation Rental Agreement via e-mail, fax or postal service. Receipt of your 50% deposit with your signed rental agreement confirms your reservation.
Please be sure that we receive your VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT AND PAYMENT within 15 days of your renter agreement form date. We accept credit card, personal checks, money orders or cashiers checks.
We'll send you a reservation confirmation receipt showing your final balance. FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE 15 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL.
A damage security deposit of $200.00 for a 4 or more night stay or $75.00 for a 2 to 3 night stay is also required with the final balance. This will be made out in the form of a separate check, which will not be cashed unless we have a valid claim to make upon it. The cost of any unreasonable damage will be deducted from the security deposit. If no claims are made, the damage deposit check will be voided and returned within 2 to 4 weeks after your departure from the cottage.
You may waive the damage deposit and purchase a $50.00 Damage Deposit Waiver which is non-refundable and covers your party for up to $1,000 worth of accidental damage. Provided the damage is reported to our office during your stay. Some examples of covered damages include: a lamp that is accidentally knocked over and broken or a beverage spilled on a carpet.
THE RENTER will be responsible for any damage caused in excess of the damage deposit waiver and will be invoiced separately.
Reservations made less than 15 days in advance may send full payment by money order, check or cashier's check within 48 hours (i.e. overnight or second day air via UPS, Federal Express, or Express Mail), or pay by credit card to confirm your reservation. Reservations are automatically cancelled if payment & signed Vacation Rental Agreement aren't received within the required time period.
Restrictions - Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
Maximum of 2 house broken pets - $100 non-refundable fee for weekly rental, less for a weekend rental.
Linens and Towels are not provided. You may rent them if you do not wish to bring your own:

In cases of cancellation, no refund will be made until the cancelled period is re-rented and confirmed so please let us know as soon as possible. If the cancelled period cannot be re-rented, no money will be returned, and full rent is still due in full. If the cancelled period is re-rented, any rent money paid will be refunded to you, less a $25 fee. All cancellations must be in writing (email is acceptable).
In the event of a hurricane, sustained damage from a hurricane, or mandatory evacuations, you will not be entitled to a refund but we will give you a discount on your next rental. We recommend getting travel coverage through CSA Insurance. Pursuant to the North Carolina “Vacation Rental Act”, you will be obligated to comply with and vacate the premises upon a mandatory evacuation order.
Reservations for the following year can be made by paying a non-refundable pre-reservation fee of 10% which will hold a week or weekend for you. The rental agreement form will be mailed either the end of this year or the beginning of next year and the 10% fee will be deducted from your 50% deposit.
